We, as a family, have been going to Eye Design for the best part of 20 years, with our youngest receiving his first pair of glasses at the age of 4. It is a family business, and, as such, provides a very personal service, fully professional from the receptionists to the optometrists and final fitting, with very high standards, yet also attentive to the needs of the individual. Nothing is too much trouble, even to the extent of sending contact lenses to our son at Manchester University and getting sunglasses needed in a hurry couriered at no extra charge. We have recommended Eye Design to several of our friends and family, and hope to continue to enjoy their services for many years to come.

I have been going to Eye Design for over ten years and have always found them most helpful, efficient and friendly. When choosing the frames for one’s new spectacles, they will always advise you but never pressurise you to have the most expensive! Any small problems between annual eye-tests are always dealt with in the best possible way. All the staff are very friendly and the shop always looks neat and tidy with fresh flowers on the front desk. It is so nice to have an independent optician in the High Street and I would thoroughly recommend them.

What can I say? All sorts spring to mind but are probably superfluous and are merely dressing and don’t convey what I feel about you all.

My 3 boys, my wife Barbara and myself would not entrust our eye care to anyone else and would have no hesitation in recommending you all to any one that asks.

When I found Eye Design almost 10 years ago, I knew I was in safe hands. My prescription was a little complicated, so even a small discrepancy in the finished glasses would give me problems.
